Cyclists can set off from Bad Homburg in any direction they choose. They will experience a diverse range of landscape impressions: Forests, fields, meadows, fruit orchards, valleys with streams, historic gardens. The nearest destination to the north is neighboring town Friedrichsdorf, to the south it is Oberursel, this year's Hessentag venue, to the east across the fields is Frankfurt, while to the west the Taunus mountains require a slightly higher level of fitness.

Thanks to its extensive network of cycle paths, you can even cycle around Bad Homburg. The round trip is about 22 kilometers long. Starting in the north, it takes you across the fields in Kirdorf, through the Hardtwald and the agricultural areas around Gonzenheim and Ober-Eschbach. It then leads along the Platzenberg through parts of the Landgraves' Garden Landscape, past Gothic House and through Dornholzhausen. You will also pass the regional park stations of Hofgut Kronenhof and Lernbauernhof Mauerer en route.
